Arte Italica Riverbero. Riverbero refers to an ancient Italian technique of painting a lustrous design upon ceramic. Artisans in the town of Gubbio, Italy developed this beautiful technique during the Renaissance. The pieces were hand painted with a reflective or luster finish. Originally, the technique was used to create wall plates, which depicted noble rank or the coat of arms of wealthy Italian families. In the tradition of these skilled artists, Arte Italica has created the Riverbero Collection. Dishwasher safe on the low setting.
